  The Haircut

One day a florist goes to a barber for a haircut. After the cut he asked about his bill and the barber replies: “I’m sorry, I cannot accept money  from you; I’m  doing community service this week”.  The florist is pleased and leaves the shop. Next morning when the barber goes to open there is a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his bill the barber again replies:  “I’m sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I’m doing community service this week.” The cop is happy and leaves the shop.   Next morning when the barber goes to open up there is a thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Later a Republican comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his bill the barber again replies:  “I’m sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I’m doing community service
this week.”  The Republican is very happy and leaves the shop. Next morning when the barber goes to open, there is a thank you card and a dozen different books such as “How to Improve Your Business” and “Becoming More Successful.”

Then a Democrat comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his bill the barber again replies:  “I’m sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I’m doing community service this week.”  The Democrat is very happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber goes to open up, there are a dozen Democrats lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between left and right.God Bless America and be sure to vote on November 7th so we don’t give away haircuts!

  1. I think that might just qualify as the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.

If the hairdresser is doing community service because he committed a crime, the republican is sure to demand that he be locked up instead.

If the barber is giving out free haircuts out of the kindness of his heart, the republican is sure to call him a damn socialist pinko and storm out of the place. after all, how dare the barber undercut decent, hard working hairdressers with his free cuts? thats not the American way.

Either way, the Republican will be voting to ensure that the kind hearted barber and his boyfriend can’t ever get married. Way to go, GOP.

  2. Lets take this one by one because if your read your own comment Jon it will become the dumbest thing you have ever read
“If the hairdresser is doing community service because he committed a crime, the republican is sure to demand that he be locked up instead”
-Actually the punishment has already been dolled out and to try and give him another punishment is double jep. so not right
“If the barber is giving out free haircuts out of the kindness of his heart, the republican is sure to call him a damn socialist pinko and storm out of the place. after all, how dare the barber undercut decent, hard working hairdressers with his free cuts? thats not the American way.”
-if he was being forced to do it i would agree, but Republicans have no problem letting people take money out of their own pockets (while Democrats demand they give the money to them)it is the American way because Republicans unlike Democrats believe we will let you do whatever you want with your own money, while Dems say they will decide for you
“Either way, the Republican will be voting to ensure that the kind hearted barber and his boyfriend can’t ever get married.”
-Typical Lib who always follows the stereotypes. Who says he is gay? And what the hell does that have to do with the JOKE?!?! Dems have to start taking some jokes for what they are and stop stereotyping everyone. Also, just because there is gay marriage for a lot of Republicans doesnt mean we cant be nice to each other.  Oh wait i forgot according to the libs if you disagree you must try and kill each other there is no such thing as 2 views on an issue

  3. “… but Republicans have no problem letting people take money out of their own pockets”

That’s not what he said - he’s referring to the fact that by giving away free haircuts the barber would be damaging other people’s businesses - by undercutting them.

Not that it’s really worthy of an explanation.

  4. Oh and IMO ‘undercutting’ in the context of barbers is funnier than the original post. Not that that’s saying much of course :)

  5. Not a bad point Andy, however of course Republicans would have no problem with him undercutting others, free market afterall if the government told him to make a certain price THATS communism and something Republicans would hate. Remember we are the ones who love Walmart.
    But not a bad point.

  8. Yes, this might be true. But the fact is that the Republicans are busy filling their pockets with PAC money, while the Democrats stay ascetic.

But if the barber shop were filled with young Congressional pages, there’d be two lines: One of Democrats looking for free hair trim. The other of Republicans looking for some pederast nookie.

God Bless America and use that thing between your ears to vote this time. Stop letting other people tell you what’s right… And never forget what should be the most famous joke of all:
Q: How can you tell if a politician is lying?
A: If his lips are moving.

    Stand up America!

  9. If you honestly think the Republicans are getting more PAC money then the Dems you have no idea what is going on.
The rest? ok ill live with it
