It’s so nice to see that someone actually cares about the upcoming election. “10 things I Hate about Bush” showed the author’s particular views on the reelection of President Bush. The best part about the article was that it could well have been published in the New York Times. Just like the Times, the article didn’t have anything to do with the actual candidates pros or cons as a politician rather it was personal attacks that have nothing to do with being a good President. I’m surprised it didn’t mention the fact that the current administration can’t be trusted because three of the top people are named Dick Bush and Colon.
The problem is that this isn’t an isolated incident. It seems pretty clear, in this writers opinion, that Bush will be elected (Bush in 6 if I’m putting money on it) mostly because his policies are sound and have worked in many cases. So the mainstream liberal media, which I mentioned in last weeks article, has resorted to attacking the person rather then the policy. Since the polls show that his policies need no defense I will instead defend the President not only as the leader of our country but also as a person, so I present “10 Things you are dumb to hate about Bush”
1) English is his second language? You’re saying someone who was born in America but was raised to speak Spanish cannot be President? Who is being prejudice now? Obviously you really meant it as a joke, but if we can all see brains doesn’t make a good president (see Jimmy Carter)
2. Talks the talk, but can’t walk the walk? He says he will root out evil wherever it may be, and has done that, said he will cut taxes and has. Seems like unlike some previous presidents he has actually stuck to his promises. “Our commander in thief”? So clever, yet somehow your reference to him being in national guard rather then going to join the armed forces makes him a bad commander in chief? How conveniently we forget the Bill Clinton ADMITTED to dodging the draft. At least Bush signed up, and a deserter? It’s nice to see that you don’t read the papers because they have debunked that false rumor
3. “He is an unrepentant liar”? How so? WMD? Can’t we ever give our President the benefit of the doubt maybe HE was the one lied to?
4. Pretends he can speak “Mexican”? He was showing his support for the Spanish speaking members of our country. And I’m sure “Ich Bein Ien Berliner” (I am a jelly donut) doesn’t rink as one of the most prominent things JFK ever said.
5. Calls himself compassionate. Because he believes in the death penalty and want to detour murders unlike some other parties that want to get them off and leave them out to kill more people. Murdering Murderers is compassionate.
6. The idiot smirk. I’m sorry not all of us smile like the typical white Anglo Saxon idea of a smile. A silly smile defiantly makes someone a bad president
7. Connecticut blue blood pretends to be Texan? Believe it or not me moved to Texas and has lived there for a significant portion of his life, if he wasn’t a real Texan he wouldn’t be speaking in that accent you hate so much.
8. There is no president I have ever seen stand his ground and take responsibility for his actions more then Bush. (See “you can’t take these flip flops to the beach”)
9. Again, the man has gone on vacation so much that it really bothers you? Your right the stress of having everyone attack you at all times is very easy to cope with, and if you take some time off, that doesn’t make you a good president
10. Almost whacked by a pretzel? GIVE THE MAN A BREAK! He is human! I’m sure every person who has ever choked is a moron in you opinion. Maybe its not personal maybe you’re just racist against Southerners.
